Few private communities, or public parks for that matter, can rival the hiking trails at Connestee Falls. Ranging from easy to moderately strenuous, our hiking trails wind through and around the community’s many forested areas offering views of creeks, waterfalls, lakes and mountain vistas. The trail system is extensive and quite elaborately planned and maintained, including parking areas at main trailheads. Look for the symbol “P” on the trail maps to locate each trailhead’s parking area. Our 20+ miles of trails are lovingly maintained by the Connestee Falls Trail Builders and Trail Stewards.
Connestee Falls Hiking Trails Guide (pdf)
The on-line Connestee Falls Hiking Trails Guide has hiking hints, trail maps with descriptions, and rules for CF trail use. Note that the CF rules and regulations prohibit the removal or disturbance of plants on any CF common natural areas, trails, or parks. Please “Leave No Trace” and avoid disturbing the natural setting of flora or natural features. Thank you!
CF Trails Are Now Digital!
The Trail Builders have recently updated and expanded the CALTOPO digital trail maps for all 20 miles of Connestee Falls' hiking trails. The trails have been divided into four digital maps: Connestee Northside Trails, Salola Trail System, Oakanoah Trails and Ecusta Trails. “Connestee Northside Trails” map includes the Amakola Trail System, Kelley Mountain Trail, and Equestrian Trail. The “Salola Trail System” map includes the Salola Trail as well as Tall Pines Trace Trail (Batson Farm Historic Site). The “Oakanoah Trail” map is limited to this trail. The “Ecusta Trail” map includes both the Ecusta and Tshakanawi Trails.
